Tunisian giants Club Africain were dumped out of the CAF Confederation Cup round of 32 after losing 4-1 on aggregate to Morocco's Renaissance Sportive de Berkane, while Raja Casablanca advanced to the next round.
After losing 3-1 away from home in the first leg, Africain slumped to a 1-0 defeat at home to embarrassingly wave the Africa's secondary competition goodbye from the first round, courtesy of a 71st minute Ayoub Kaabi goal.
Raja Casablanca, meanwhile, advanced with a 5-3 aggregate win over Mauritania's Nouadhibou following a 4-2 win in Casablanca.
Three first-half goals from Mouhssine Iajour (double) and Abdelilah Hafidi were followed by another one Mahmoud Benhalib in the 70th minute, as the Moroccans made it to the next stage.
Still in the North, Algeria's CR Belouizdad progressed with a 3-1 aggregate victory over Zambia's Nkana despite losing 1-0 in the return leg win in Algiers.
The goal was scored from the spot by Abnane in the 57th minute but it was not enough for the Zambians as Belouizdad went through.
