Johannesburg, South Africa (ADV) – Mozambique is set to host the 12th U.S.-Africa Business Summit at the Joaquim Chissano International Conference Center in Maputo in June.
The four-day event is expected to bring together more than 1000 United States (US) and African private sector executives, international investors, senior government officials and multilateral stakeholders.
The summit is a platform for African and US private sector and government representatives to engage on key sectors including agribusiness, energy, health, infrastructure, trade facilitation, ICT and finance; network with key private sector and government officials; explore new business opportunities, meet potential business partners; and make new business deals.
“The Summit constitutes an opportunity for small, medium and large enterprises from the US, Africa and the rest of the world to establish contacts and partnerships mutually advantageous in various sectors,” said Mozambique Prime Minister, Carlos Agostinho do Rosário.
CCA President and Chief Executive Officer, Florizelle Liser, expressed appreciation about collaborating with Mozambique in this event, saying the council believes that the country is a destination of choice.
